Musical

At Tuesday evening we have seen a musical in Haderslav. It was very funny, but we have understand only the nonverbal communication, because songs and the conversations was in Danish.

But the vision was nice.


It was in a school, somewhere Carsten (my SSH) teach. Before the musical we met a teacher, who talked about this school, and something about the Danish language. We drank a cup of coffee (there are coffee machines in every school in Denmark, because they drink coffee like water), and have seen the preparation of the musical.

It was in the hall of the school, and the stage was there too. The scene was very creative. Were five locations in the drama, and every location was in the stage.



The story was in Danish, but I think it was about a fastidious princess, who wants the best singer in the world. And her dependents was looking for these singers, but she kick off everybody. But everything was Danish therefore maybe the story about a very different thing. I don't know.

But it wasn't problem. We enjoyed it.


After the musical we visited a classroom there. It was very professional. We watched the kid's draws, and other works of them.

When we finished the visit, the teachers invited us to join to have a beer, but we was very tired (and we afraid a lot) therefore go home to sleep.:)

My first day in a Danish School

First of all I was in an English Lesson with Anette and the second was a Math Lesson with John

My experiences about the English Lesson

- the younger like a gang about a film, have caps in they hand, pants was loaf, the boys underwear show it, a very colorful dresses, the girls have makeup it
- when I was asked the teacher did I take some photos, she asked the class
- before started the lesson I feared of it, because I didn’t know how the teacher keep it the order
- at the lesson the students know where is their place, they listen for teacher, and sometimes try to do something else, but I think only they see it, where is their behavior’s border
- the teacher speak every students, and nobody less the examples
- when they find a new word, the teacher don’t tell about them what it’s mean, the students need to make up it
- the teacher is very direct with the students, and don’t interesting when they try to do some annoying thing
- the students are inquire, and important what they thing

My experiences about the Math Lesson

- the student are similar like the English Lesson
- now I haven’t fears
- under the lesson the student stand up and go out, if they want
- the teacher speak about the theory and show an exam solution and after the students work independently, and if have problems, the teacher move on every students and the teach is very personal think
- everybody speaking therefore have a little noise the lesson, but it’s not agitated

My general experiences

- every classroom have digital table, and projector and computer with Internet
- the lesson is very free, but the student listen the teacher, and first of all it look like a chaotic but if you sit in the class see it that’s OK
- they have an Intranet for students, and a lot of materials are here for the students
- the students are very important and they opinion is the baseline for the teaching

My feelings:

I thing it was a very great day. I had a lot of experience and I learn a lot about the stereotypes.

Denmark and the Danes

At Tuesday we was a lesson about our theory about this country. We started it whit a brainstorming and have a lot of associations: Viking, Hamlet, Queen, beer, Andersen, Lego Land, Fishermen, Mill, blond, happiness, school system, etc..

After that we told about it, and Jette wonderingly saw it that we have a lot of different information about Denmark.

After this section we need to created groups, and make a composition: How see Denmark. I was whit Lilla and Eliska. We dawn a mill, and glued it a lot of pictures, what cut out same newspapers. I was an idea and I did it, therefore our mill-wheel was rotated. While the girls cut the pictures, I iterated a Viking’s helmet. It was so funny.

The other works was very interesting. In every pictures have similar things. We leant a lot of interesting Danish habit, and we built in the a pictures. These was the candles in the windows, open the curtains.

Under this example Jette told everybody personally that where we will go to visit the Danish school system. But this is an other story.

Now that’s it!

I enjoy this day, and I’m waiting the next!

OVERTURE

At September I decided to learn at an other country therefore I joined the Erasmus program. I was a lot of chance somwhere I learn, but the Danish cours was so interesting: "Living and learning toegethet", perfect! But I had a little problem, what's about my wife, when I'm in Denmark. We wrote a letter to the school and answer that they are waiting for us toegether.
We was so happy.
Now the question is that how we go to Denmark. We decided by car but it was a very long way: 1600 km, 16 huors. The journey was very easy only the GD was problem. GD is German Driver. The are so quick, and stressed and I don't undertand how to do that drive style.
But afrer seven pm we arrived at friday.
We have a fabulous house in the town center. It was very old with antique furnitures. Here is everything what we need but I was stricken because there's no microcave oven and toaster.
Next day, we meet Carsten our Buddy. We walk toegethetin thecity. He gift us a box with Danish hand made honey. Since than I'm an addict for this honey. It's very delicious with butter and bread.
Sunday we have a little adventure. We went to the carwash (Bilvask?) and when we waiting the washer our storage battery went dead. A man, help with us to push the car. Now Carsten looking for charger.
Yesterday stated the scool. We have a lot of information about Danish School system, and now we learn to create blogs. It's neat, while you looking for who read this line. End of of this part, but don't be afraid!
